SAN DIEGO, US, March 11, 2011 – Modesat Communications Inc., a subsidiary of Modesat Communications, has announced the commencement of its operations in San Diego, US. With this step, Modesat Communications has expanded its Engineering Centre to two locations – one in Tallinn, Estonia, and the second one in San Diego.

Large scale migration towards LTE, UMB and 802.16m require substantial increases in aggregated backhaul capacities, and cost efficient and high throughput backhaul solutions are demanded by the market. With congested frequency resource at lower frequencies, strong interest towards higher frequencies will drive the market further.
