TALLINN, September 15, 2009 – Modesat Communications, developer of leading-edge modem FPGA Core products, was elected today as Estonian Innovator 2009. Innovator 2009 is the highest prize awarded in the most innovative company category, selected by a board of leading Estonian entrepreneurs, politicians and scientists. The Innovator 2009 Prize was handed over to Modesat Communications by the Prime Minister of Estonia.
The Entrepreneur Prize competition is an annual gala event organized by Enterprise Estonia and the Estonian Chamber of Trade and Commerce to pay recognition to the most successful companies. Companies can participate in different categories such as Innovator, Foreign Investor, Exporter, Developer and Tourism Facilitator. Modesat is the winner of the Innovator 2009 category, followed by the leading Estonian mobile operator EMT and NOW! Innovations.
