In anticipation of the sales launch activities starting in Nov 2008, Modesat Communications was present as an exhibitor on International Astronautical Congress 2008 in Glasgow, Scotland, held 29.Sept-03.Oct 2008.

"The event brought together a number of our potential partners in the field of satellite communications, such as small satellite manufacturers as well as service providers for fixed and mobile users" said Tarmo Pihl, VP for Business Development and Sales. "Our products are well suited to increase the communication capacity of small satellites, but also are of interest to broadcasting service providers, who are in need for reliable and high speed communication link to fixed and mobile users".

The initial interest towards Modesat product offerings was high, indicating the existing market demand for high capacity products. Modesat expects to release a range of products aimed at satellite market in QI 2009.
