21.07.2008 - Peep Põldsamm joins Modesat as the new CEO

Peep Põldsamm, an enterpreneur with a 20+ years of telecom experience, joined the company as new CEO. Previously, Mr Põldsamm has been Development Director of Levicom Group, Strategy Director and Member of the Council of Tele2, Chairman of State Information and Communications Foundation and founder of Bravocom.

"Modesat is very close to releasing its first product to global market" says Tauno Tats, the representative of Ambient Sound Investments, the shareholder company of Modesat. "With a transition to international market, the company needs a top manager with a long term global business experience".

"On mobile markets we are experiencing today the next wave of technological changes" says Mr Põldsamm. "Therefore I believe into the technologies that Modesat develops and see high potential in terrestrial wireless, but also space technologies segments".

The present Chairman and CEO Mr Tarmo Pihl continues as a Board Member and VP for Business Development.
