Wireless Gigabit Ethernet modem

Available GbE modems have analogue design due to difficulties implementing digital signal reception at GHz bandwidths. Modesat offers a fully digital GbE modem, capable of signal recovery at high bandwidth due to PilotSync™ technology. Our modem operates in a 400 MHz channel and uses 16QAM modulation on a low cost FPGA.

Features

IF sub-sampling or I/Q baseband interface;
Variable ADC width support;
Single external clock source required;
Single external analogue loop for AGC;
Fully digital and automatic frequency recovery - no VCXO or AFC required;
