e-Band

Modems designed to support Gigabit Ethernet in 80 GHz frequency range with capacity up to 2 Gbps.

For ultra high capacity ultra high frequency range Modesat is releasing an e-Band radio modem. The modem will be available in March 2012 on Modesat Evaluation Board and will feature the following parameters:

• I/Q baseband, complex IF or real IF interface
• Input and output carrier frequencies are freely software configurable
• Transport stream is n x 1000 BASE-T data source
• Modulation: QPSK to 128QAM
• Adaptive Coding and Modulation
• Adaptive Digital Predistortion
• Bandwidth: software configurable 250 MHz channel
• Symbol rate: 215 MSym/s per channel
• Includes PilotSync™ technology
• FEC LDPC encoder/decoder
• Interleaver/Deinterleaver
• Decision Directed Equalizer in the receiver channel
